I was in need of a part that did not come with my ice maker and it was a several hour chat mostly waiting on the customer service rep. I understand they take multiple calls at a time but after over an hour in the chat with them they finally understood what part I needed I dont think there is much training involved and having someone from another country trying to communicate with me was frustrating.

Unfortunately I have to give this review a very poor rating. The reason is as follows: I purchased this on Aug. 12 2024. It was delivered a week later August 19th. All initial operational instructions were followed. The refrigator never worked from day one. I placed a call into LG customer service that they put a call into an appliance repair shop. They told me it was the compressor which would have to be ordered. From my understanding it was ordered and currently awaiting an appointment date for their technician. In the mean time I am currently storing my food and medications in my neighbors refgrigator. I am hoping to win this $500.00 to repay my neighbor for their inconveince.

I bought this refrigerator with delivery for my elderly mother and was really excited for her to get a brand new refrigerator. However the refrigerator was lost in transit by LG and LG refuses to ship a new refrigerator offer any sort of refund or help in any way with the issue. I have been contacting LG customer support for a week and just get sent in endless circles with no resolution. In short I have spent $700 for absolutely nothing.

LG has made my first new fridge experience a nightmare. Upon receiving it the fridge worked great. We were out of town for a couple weeks and came back to a lukewarm fridge. I called LG and they got an appointment to fix it. This is the 2nd time the fridge has broken down The worst part is waiting for a technician to come out and fix it. I have been waiting since 6/22 I call and send messages everyday and still no response I have left several messages for the technician himself and I never get a call back. My food has rotted while waiting for help This is very bad service and I will never buy anything else from LG ever again. Even mgmt doesnt respond to my calls. I am a disabled senior living on a fixed income and I cant afford to keep buying new food just so it can rot. The fridge and freezer are not staying cold enough. Please have someone come out asap

Looks good - Very Quiet - Keeps things cold

So far so good We had our old refrigerator for 29 years so I was hesitant when buying a new one because of all the reviews the new models had. But LG had a sale and it was good enough for me to take a chance. The delivery from Home Depot went very well. There was a week delay in getting the refrigerator but I was given a nice discount to compensate for that. The refrigerator looks great. Its very quiet. The only problem and its not really a problem is that the freezer was TOO cold. We had to move the setting down to the lowest 1. We keep thermometers in both our freezer and refrigerator to make sure their cooling properly.

I was happy with my refrigerator up until the first year anniversary. Four days after that it started making g a loud noise and then the noise ended. When I checked the freezer and refrigerator temperature they were running too high and not keeping cold enough. I called LG and they told me my warranty was 5 years. They sent a technician out and he determined that the fan was broken and unfortunately that part was not covered under the warranty. So after only 1 year and 4 days I had to pay $265 on a repair. I was not happy. I expected better from an LG product.

Poor Quality Refrigerator Amazingly Bad service

I bought this LG refrigerator 6 weeks ago and wish I had bought another brand. Several service calls the one yesterday included the installation of a new mother board. When I came home from work everything in the freezer was thawed at 51 degrees and the refrig part at 57 degrees probably both from residual cooling. Lost hundreds of $$ of seafood and plant based burgers in the freezer. Called for service today and got off-shore call center that was worthless.

Hello We got this refrigerator on black friday for $599.00 at Lowes. We replaced a fifteen year old general electric model that the compressor broke costing close to what we paid for this model. We had the old refrigerator hauled away because we did not want to fix it by Lowes delivery team. We do not like the shelves inside because they tend to show small spider cracks and we have light weight on them. We had the same problem with our old refrigerator too doing the same thing. We feel the inside shelves need improvement with metal rack shelves that are easy to remove and install. These shelves are hard to remove due to the lock tooth built in to the track. They are not impossible to remove but they are easy to install. They slide right in very easily. The refrigerator is very quiet and stays ice cold through out the year. We talked to a guy that made replacement shelves for this refrigerator out of thin plywood and he works at Lowes. We do love our new refrigerator and we ordered a spare shelf under warranty for free in case they break and can not use anymore.
