With just 2 of us now we didnt need a humongous frig so we got this one perfect size and lots of room to spare. The lighting is nice-- also there is no odd bump hanging down from ceiling to prevent taller things from sliding in near middle of top shelf. It looks great runs well and seems well-constructed

I needed a smaller refrigerator and this one is the perfect size. Makes ice great. Only poor design is the shelf design. Horrible design. The shelves can only be side by side. I purposely bought this one because the shelves were individual not all one . You have to remove a shelf to be able to put tall items . You can not put the shelf in the other side. Wish I had known that.

Best choice for small spaces

We have an older kitchen with limited space between cabinets for the frig. This is one of very few which will fit the space and we appreciate the french door configuration since weve got a doorway to dining room 90 degrees from the frig doors. The lighting inside is great and we like the large shallow drawer on bottom of frig portion for take bake pizza The freezer portion has great organization too. When our prior frig died we were so worried we would not be able to find something to fit our space---whew were we ever glad to find this LG design in stock and delivered in 1 week

This LG fridge is great keeps cold easy to use and keep clean. Lighting inside is sufficient. One small complaint a design flaw has vegetable box vents that stick up above the bottom tray so when you try to slide your milk or water container onto the shelf it hits this 3/4 high plastic tab. This is the ONLY problem with this machine and it is a problem.

I bought this refrigerator about a month ago. We were looking for a smaller one due to the space it needed to go in. I wanted one with a bottom freezer. I had a real hard time finding one. Then I saw this one in a camper and wrote down the model number. called around and found that model at a lowes store went and looked at it. I liked it so went back to chafers where we buy all our appliances and they ordered me one. I havent had it that long but I really like it. the freezer keeps the ice cream nice and hard. I can put my milk in the door. the shelves are adjustable. I just really like it.

Issues with ice makers

Bought 6 months ago and had to have specialty ice maker replaced after 4 months. Now i have been without regular ice maker for a month. Had 3 technicians cone over 4 times and it is still not fixed. They have ordered another part to see if that works. They replaced ice maker 4 times replaced door replaced main PCB board still not working. Very very disappointed witg this refrigerator.

After years of wanting a French door refrigerator I finally realized at 80 years old if I wanted to enjoy it I needed to buy it now. My problem was the space I had for a refrigerator was small it had to be no more than 30 inches wide. Also I did not want water/ice available on the door. My new LG fit the bill perfectly. Although it juts out a bit more than my previous refrigerator it is not obtrusive. I especially like the large door containers easy to group items used together together like mustard ketchup etc. I did have to lower one shelf but the adjacent shelf has a small lip to prevent items from falling off. The deli drawer is especially handy for lunch meats cheeses soda cans. I did not hook up the automatic icemaker I am just as happy with ice trays. That also gives me a bit more freezer space. The bottom freezer did take a bit of getting used to but I like it now.

Fridge looks great but discovered too late that the door hinges are not European style like more expensive models. This means it cannot be flush mounted in an opening sized to the installation guide specs. LG should note that this is NOT a flush fit model.

I like this fridge but after having it a little over two years I had to have the condenser changed because it wasnt cooling anymore. Luckily they did that for free. Well see how it goes from here on out. The repairman said I shouldnt have any more issues because LG fridges are good and solid. Lets hope hes right

Love the look and function

French Door Refrig w Ice 3/28/2023

I bought this a month ago and am still getting used to it. So far I love it It works perfectly it looks beautiful so sleek and so completely practical. It is also exactly what I was looking for 30 W French doors and a bottom freezer. I love that all trays are split and I can accommodate them however I might need them at any moment. It is spacious has a clean look and has several shelves trays and plenty of door storage. It also makes ice but I am not using that feature as I rather make my own. As cons I would have to mention that I continuously have to make sure I close the door it doesnt automatically seal BUT it does have a little alarm to remind me if I didnt close the refrigerator correctly. I find the suction of the doors quite tight which is good for my food but I might build muscle. Ultimately I am very happy and proud of my choice I have everything I wanted from a refrigerator. I would buy it again

Whoever designed this refrigerator saw the need to maximize space. The deep doorshelves make it easy to see and retrieve items. The main shelves are easy to adjust. The party tray is probably the best feature making access very easy. We changed brands to LG most because of an inferior ice maker on another brand. LGs is far far superior. Great size cubes quick to freeze and a very deep ice tray.

We bought this fridge from Costco and were just days from warrant running out. Contacted the warranty center as the Ice Maker fell into the ice bin. Within days the service tech was to the house and ordered a new ice machine to replace the old one.

We replaced another French door fridge with this one. We prefer the LG so far six weeks in. Easier to clean more consistent cooling food stays fresher. Freezer is slightly smaller but not problematic.

I thought I was buying the Lg with the water dispenser on the front. I was disappointed when it arrived. Not knowing how long I would have to wait for the new one to arrive I decided to keep this one You do not miss what you never had and it has been 2 weeks and I could not be happier. Ive had this Refrigerator for about 3 years and over that period one piece of plastic after another has cracked and broken. The quality of the plastic used in making the trays and compartment enclosures is extremely low. LG could have put a bit more into the quality using a plastic like polycarbonate but they didnt bother. This is infuriating because my refrigerator is falling apart and does not function properly any more. DO NO BUY THIS MODEL

ok refrigerator but LG has very poor cust service

The refrigerator has been working well. But 15 mths into owning it one day when opening the door a plastic piece has broken off. It was a small part but obviously cheaply made. Thankfully we bout it through Costco and we can get the part for free. But its been over a month and a half and the correct part has still not been received. I told them it was a door stop small plastic piece. Had to call twice because after a month the part has still not come. Called again finally got a box but it was two door handles. Not even close to what I needed. Tried dealing with LG directly and what a waste of time. Had to go through Costco again and an hr and a half on the phone. LG never sends you any info on the case no tracking info or even if the part was ever shipped. So now it been almost a week of the 7-10 days they said for the part to arrive will see if it ever gets shipped without another call.

Good storage space for the size

I have used this LG French Door refrigerator for over three years and its has worked reasonably well. At times the unit would freeze food in the refrigerator section even though the target temperature was set at 38 degrees F. Now the ice maker has started to leak water. This is not what I expected when I bought the unit.

Our Refrigerator of twenty dome years finally gave up and I had to look for. Refrigerator that would fit in our stairways and door. This model gave us the answer and with an added bonus because of its depth. Very happy.My only concern is the door when closing. It latches with a sound and not with ease.But overall its still ok.

A Good Fit

Buying an LG Refrigerator was a good idea for us. The dimensions and style are perfect for our current lifestyle. Bottom freezer was preferred to help the older grandkids get whatever they need for themselves and others *You can hear the running/humming frig sound all the time but explained in manual. Last when ice maker water is filling it is quite loud. We like the Energy Star quality and like this refrigerator.

Up to this moment I am very happy with my LG refrigerator the spaces are very well distributed and the freezer at the bottom is very convenient. I had other brands in the past 2 years that stopped cooling after one year I hope this doesnt happen with this brand
